If your Cat is an indoor cat, the nails can be cut on a regular basis!
When a Cat is old and much less active the Nails/Claws can become a problem especially to the Cat. They grow long and thick and sometimes grow into the pads causing pain and discomfort!
The younger outdoor Cat on the other hand needs it’s claws!
- To protect it’s self
- To catch it’s prey
- To climb and cling on.
When I cut the nails of a cat, I always show the owner how to do it safely and without hurting the Cat
